Fremont Street Experience Celebrates 30 Years with Festive Holiday Events

Downtown Las Vegas Landmark Marks Milestone with Special Celebrations

Fremont Street Experience, the iconic entertainment hub in downtown Las Vegas, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this December with a series of festive events and activities.

Since its debut in 1995, Fremont Street Experience has been a cornerstone of Las Vegas entertainment, featuring live concerts, dazzling light shows, and unique attractions under its renowned canopy.

The anniversary festivities kicked off on December 3 with the annual Downtown Hoedown, the official kickoff party for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Country music fans enjoyed free performances by artists such as Midland, Corey Kent, Josh Ross, and Mackenzie Carpenter.

On December 5 and 6, the Guinness Holiday Pop-Up offered guests complimentary samples of Guinness beer, festive merchandise, and holiday-themed photo opportunities, adding to the seasonal cheer.

The highlight of the celebrations took place on December 14, marking the official 30th anniversary. The evening began with a Menorah lighting ceremony at sundown, followed by remarks from key figures instrumental in the development of Fremont Street Experience. New shows premiered on the canopy, and Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley led the annual Christmas tree lighting, signaling the start of the holiday season.

Following the tree lighting, the Neon Nights Holiday Lights Village opened to the public. Running nightly from December 14 to 19, this holiday village features meet-and-greet opportunities with Santa, local pop-up retailers, and festive décor, creating a vibrant atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

Looking ahead, Fremont Street Experience will host the Las Vegas Bowl Pep Rally on December 30 at 5 p.m., featuring bands, cheerleaders, and mascots from the competing teams, building excitement for the upcoming game.

The month-long celebrations will culminate on December 31 with the Countdown Under The Canopyâ„¢ New Year's Eve party. Starting at 7 p.m., the event will feature live performances by artists including Robin Thicke, CeeLo Green, Common Kings, Chingy, Pertinence, and Sammy Johnson. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Throughout December, participating properties on Fremont Street are offering specially curated anniversary cocktails, allowing guests to toast to three decades of entertainment and community spirit.

The Fremont Street Experience remains a vibrant destination, blending history, innovation, and festive celebrations to create unforgettable experiences for visitors from around the world.
