Wonder Fine Liquids Brings Wizard of Oz Magic to Las Vegas Arts District

A new establishment, Wonder Fine Liquids, is set to enchant the Las Vegas Arts District with a unique blend of high-quality cocktails and a curated food menu, all infused with elements reminiscent of the Wizard of Oz.

Located at 1309 S. Commerce St., this 5,000-square-foot venue will feature a main bar area offering food service and a speakeasy-style space at the rear. The bar plans to craft cocktails using house-made syrups and mixers, aiming to provide an elevated drinking experience.

The Las Vegas Planning Commission has received an application for full alcohol service for Wonder Fine Liquids, with staff recommending approval. The project justification letter describes the establishment as a "refined tavern and bar offering an elevated experience that combines high-quality cocktails with a curated food menu with elements of the Wizard of Oz feeling."

The building at 1309 S. Commerce St. has a rich history, having previously housed an auto repair shop, a live music dive bar, and most recently, a horror merchandise store. The introduction of Wonder Fine Liquids adds to the dynamic evolution of the Arts District, known for its eclectic mix of businesses and cultural venues.

While an official opening date has yet to be announced, the anticipation is building among locals and visitors eager to experience this imaginative addition to the Las Vegas nightlife scene.
