Hedary's Mediterranean Returns to Las Vegas with New Location |
Beloved family-owned restaurant reopens in The Gramercy, bringing authentic Lebanese cuisine back to the community |
Hedary's Mediterranean, a cherished name in Las Vegas dining, is making a much-anticipated comeback this January.
The new establishment is set to open at 9275 W. Russell Road, Suite 180, within The Gramercy complex.
This location previously housed Karved, a rotisserie chicken and porchetta sandwich spot that closed late last year.
Leading the revival is Mariz Khoury, sister to original founder Frank Hedary and one of nine children of the late Antoine and Leila Hedary, who initiated the family's restaurant legacy.
Mariz Khoury is no stranger to the Las Vegas culinary scene, having launched Khoury's Mediterranean Restaurant on West Sahara Avenue in 2006, now managed by her son.
The Hedary family's journey began in Beirut in 1960, where Antoine and Leila opened their first restaurant.
They later emigrated to Texas, establishing the first Hedary's Mediterranean Restaurant in Fort Worth in 1976.
Subsequent openings included a Dallas-area location in 1988 and Byblos in Fort Worth in 1992, all of which continue to operate.
In Las Vegas, Frank Hedary introduced the city's first Hedary's Mediterranean Restaurant on West Sahara Avenue in 2004.
After selling the restaurant in late 2013 and returning to Texas, the establishment continued under new ownership for several years before transitioning to Filo Grill Mediterranean Restaurant.
The upcoming Hedary's Mediterranean aims to honor the family's rich culinary traditions, offering authentic Lebanese dishes crafted from scratch.
Patrons can anticipate a menu featuring classic favorites such as hummus, tabbouleh, and kebabs, all prepared with the quality and care that have defined the Hedary name for decades.
Situated in The Gramercy, the new restaurant will join a vibrant community of eateries, including Anima by EDO and Pinches Tacos.
Additionally, EDO Gastropub is slated to open later this year in the former DW Bistro space.
